Safe Scanner Drive thru

Don't lose your investments to fear! Entertain safely.

Are you worried about Covid-19 affecting your business this year? We were.

Amid the uneasiness caused by the current health crisis, our communities are facing much uncertainty.  The instability in our world had us questioning the potential success of this year’s holiday season.  We’re solutions people, after all, so we unraveled our thoughts and an obvious system started to emerge.  We propose that it will be chancy not to shift your current business model to a contact-less, drive-thru experience, where possible.  Some aspects of your business surely need to pivot – but have no fear – a shut down is far from necessary.  If you can minimize contact and advertise that fact, your cautious customers will come.

Let’s face it, either directly or indirectly, the world will continue to be affected by the pandemic and with the possibility for a viral resurgence come fall, worry isn’t going anywhere.  Don’t be ill-prepared this holiday season.  Though, not every potential guest will be concerned about a contact-less option, are you willing to turn away the half of your customer base that may still be anxious?  Provide to them an opportunity to be entertained safely and protect your light park turnout this year and for years to come.

Let’s walk through a few different points and how we can help you with our drive-thru safety system.

Step-1: Contact-less Ticketing

Pay ahead online and display ticket in closed vehicle window to be scanned upon arrival.

Here’s how it works:

  • Your customer sees your link on Facebook and purchases the ticket from our system from there, all in advance.
  • Signs at the entrance of your park instruct customers to have their ticket ready, keep the windows up, and push the paper ticket (or cellphone) to the window of the vehicle.
  • Through the window, your park attendant scans the ticket with a scanning gun or with their cellphone running our app.
  • A confirmation is given less than 2 seconds later and you wave them in for the fun!

Advertising that your park is contact-less will be the advantage you have over other parks in the area.  If there aren’t others, it may be the only thing that saves your revenue.

Step-2: Onsite Signage

Informational signage will be crucial to maintain contact-less communication between you and your patrons.
Contact-less Signage

Communication is necessary to acclimate customers to your new system and make them feel comfortable.  These signs should be present throughout the entrance of your park.  Pictures of them will also make for great social media posts to advertise to your customers how serious you are about their health and how not-scary-or-risky-at-all your park is during these trying times.

To remain truly contact-less, you will need signs throughout the entrance to instruct your customer to have their ticket ready, keep the windows up, and push the paper ticket (or QR code on their cellphone) to the window of the vehicle.  This informational signage will be pertinent to maintain the integrity of your contact-less, fear-free light park.

Step-3: Contact-less yet Interactive Light Displays

Don't let your customer get away without solidifying those memories and creating new traditions.

It is proven that physical interaction has a profound effect on memory.  Now imagine if that interaction is funny or cheerful and that effect increases.  Our interactive displays bring your patrons into the story by engaging their emotions.  When it comes to next season, your guests will remember the light experience that reached out to them and made them laugh.  This is your chance to create a tradition for years to come.

Our Winteractiv product line was imagined as a way to lightly communicate with your patrons and make them laugh-out-loud together.  Our Naughty or Nice Gauge decides if your car-full has been “nice” enough for gifts this year or if they’ve been too “naughty”.  It’s almost more fun to land on the latter.  😉  Or, the Christmas Spirit Meter is a similar product with a different decal, letting your guests know how much cheer they currently occupy.  From “humbug” and “grinchy” to “FULL of SPIRIT”, your car will be judged by the meter and it’s certain the laughs will ensue.

Regardless of Covid-19, these pieces are a great opportunity to connect with your guests and form those everlasting memories.  When this pandemic blows over, these interactive displays can be easily and affordably modified to a walk-up interactive product.

Step-4: Text Marketing

Don't let your customer get away without creating a direct contact.
text Santa

Providing a cool service, like a way for kids to text their wishlists to Santa, is a surefire way to capture mobile numbers.  You wouldn’t want to abuse their phones sending texts every day – but a reminder that Santa is looking forward to their wishlist and can’t wait to see them again this year – is just what your park needs.  It makes sure that your experience remains a tradition with your park goers for years to come.

This pandemic-safe purchase isn’t only a solid option during an unfortunate health crisis, it will be a trusted piece in your holiday light display year-round.  Whether by cars or by feet, this is an opportunity to extend your holiday experience even as the guests leave your park.

Step-5: Entertain Safely & Protect Your Investments

Don't lose your investments to fear! Plan ahead.

Most certainly, there will be a sizeable population that will avoid large gatherings for the next year or perhaps longer.  Yet the need for the holiday family experience that we provide to our communities will be in demand more than ever.  It is our duty to our customers, family, and neighbors to push forward and to ensure we are creating a space where everyone is welcome.  With our expertise, it won’t be difficult to alter your light park experience slightly and maintain the crowds you are used to seeing.
